On the morning on Sunday 7th February, Prime Minister Hun Sen and his wife, along with many senior officials have visited Cambodian troops the border village of Choup Koki in Banteay Ampil district of Oddar Meanchey province, reports Deum Ampil.
Choup Koki is a contentious border village with Thai troops trying to evict Khmer families from the village many times before.
After the visit to Koki village, Mr. Hun Sen and his delegation continue their visit to the Emerald Triangle, situated on the borders district of Choam Ksan of Preah Vihear province in the Cambodia, along the borders with Laos and Thailand.
This is the second leg of Prime Minister Hun Sen's visit to the Cambodian troops at the borders after he visited Preah Vihear on Saturday for three hours where security remained very tight.
