Mr. Hun Sen gave strict orders to the Cambodian military commander not to allow the ten Thai troops stationed at Wat Keo Sekha Kirisvarak from now on, reports Deum Ampil.
Since Thai troops invaded the area on 15th July 2008, 10 unarmed Thai soldiers are allowed to be stationed at Wat Keo Sekha Kirisvarak pagoda.
He stressed that in every future meeting with the Thai commanders, the Cambodian commanders must strictly follow his orders by telling the Thai side that no Thai soldier will be allowed to be stationed at Wat Keo Sekha Kirisvarak pagoda, only at Preah Vihear temple or 5 Makara Point.
After the deadly armed clash on 3rd April 2009, there are reports that Gen. Pol Saroeun, the Cambodian Commander-in-Chief, had strictly ordered his officers not to allow the ten Thai soldiers to be stationed at the pagoda, but since then the Thai soldiers are still based at the pagoda.
At 3:30 pm local time, Mr. Hun Sen had left by helicopter to return back to Phnom Penh ,three hours after he had landed at Preah Vihear temple.
