Is it genuine video? If it is I congratulate Khmer soldiers for their bravery and courage to evict the Thai soldiers. I wanted to hear from the Thai side as well. Just one question for Mr Soy Sopheap "Why didn't our soldiers evict the Thai soldiers on the day that Mr Hun Sen planned to visit Ta Moan Thom? I need to see the answer and I believe it would be interesting.
an idiot like yourself ask lots of questions. Why didn't you listen to the audio before asking if it genuine? And why would you want to create more problem with the Thai soldiers knowing anything could happen?
Now think idiot! If you were the president would you want fighting to start while you're there?
good to see no weapons were fire. what a decent way to sociolized manner of dealing with the soldiers. this is the way thai and khmer should deal with each other. we are brothers and sisters. we khmer never use violent against our nieghbor but we tend to use it on our own people.
From what I read, Khmer troops evicted Thai troops first on 6th Feb. and on 8th Feb, on the day Hun Sen is due to visit Ta Moan Thom temple, about 100 Thai troops came to re-occupy the temple and evicted all Khmer troops and tourists from the temple. They occupied the temple from 8am till 1pm. The tension nearly lead to armed clash. The situation only die down when the Thais were forced to withdraw with Khmer troops giving them the ultimatum until 2pm, if they don't withdraw by then the Khmer troops will launch an attack. The Thais withdrew one hour earlier and the fighting was avoided and Hun sen cancelled his visit to the temple.
