In the last few months, Thai soldiers had been killing and wounding many Cambodians by accusing them of illegally logging inside Thai territories along the Khmer-Thai borders, especially along the borders of Oddar Meanchey province.
The Cambodian Foreign Ministry had sent many diplomatic notes to Thailand protesting and asking them to give explanations but the shooting and the killing still continue. Foreign Minister Hor Namhong has recently appealed to Cambodian people not to cross into Thailand.
