That's how you become a champion no matter what, and to beat all the odds in life.
Apparently she has not shown that on national television, except to make of fool out of herself, but not out of the Khmer race.
There is no generalization out of this insincere behaviour towards Khmer culture.
I wish she would have done better than that to stand a chance to get a rose and move on. This is a love game show, not a real life situation. So basically, she was too poor and instrategic in this game of love.

I think Channy has employed a smart strategy to get the world's attention. Now, the whole world, or at least the whole of America, is talking about Channy.
Channy knew she won't win his heart, and she knew she won't be chosen by him at the end, so she must try to grab as much attention as she can before she is eliminated and she succeeded.
I think her exposure will lead to something, may be she might be chosen to appear in a few commercials on commercial TVs and she could make money from her exposure to the public through her indecent proposal to Jake. Who know.
