One Cambodian logger was killed and 9 others were arrested by Thai soldiers while logging along the borders in Oddar Meanchey province on 5th December, Deum Ampil reported Oddar Meanchey provincial as saying.
The man was killed and his friends arrested while they were logging along the borders in an un-demarcated border area. However, those Thai soldiers accused the Cambodian loggers of logging inside their territories.
Since the beginning of this year, 4 Cambodian people had been killed, 3 wounded and 96 had been arrested by the Thai soldiers.
