About 100 Cambodians from North America and Europe had on 4th December staged a protest in front of the United Nations headquarters in Geneva to demand the respect of human rights in Cambodia, Radio Free Asia.
On 28th November, more than 400 Cambodians had staged protests in Canada and the U.S against human right abuses in Cambodia, after opposition leader Sam Rainsy was stripped of his parliamentary immunity on charges of "sabotage" after he led a group of villagers to uproot six border poles on the Khmer-Vietnam borders.
The report said that some human right campaigners from France had also travelled to join the protesters in Geneva, Switzerland.
