Through Mr. Ray Suaze (spelling?), representative of GRPS, Queensland Police in Australia has on 13th October donated 5 speed radars and 30 breathalysers to Cambodian police, reports everyday.com.
Gen. Yun Chhunny, Deputy Commissioner of Cambodian Police who accepted the donated equipments from Mr. Suaze (spelling?), said the donated equipments came at a time when traffic fatality in Cambodia, mostly caused by speed and alcohol, was on the increase.
Statistics show that 48% of traffic fatality resulted from speed and 12% resulted from drink driving.
