Australian news agency reported on 3oth June that following the death of Michael Jackson on 26th June, 12 people had so far committed suicide and that a number of Australian people have sought psychiatric treatments for being suicidal, reports Deum Ampil.

According to the Australian news agency, at least 50 Australians had called the telephone hotline per day to seek advice in order to avoid being suicidal. Most of the callers told the hotline that they wanted to die because they are too depressed because of the death of Michael Jackson.

Mr. Garry Taylor, head of the Australian Psychiatric Unit, said that up to now 12 people had committed suicide after Michael Jackson's death. He is appealing to Michael Jackson's fans not to kill themselves because of his death.
