To commemorate the World Press Freedom Day (May 3), the Cambodian Center for Human Rights (CCHR) issues today a press statement on the statistics of human rights abuses against journalists and media workers in Cambodia for the past year and the first several months of 2009.
The CCHR is pleased to share this data with all stakeholders so that it can be used to advocate for the improvement of press freedom in Cambodia. The statement is attached to this email.
