Vietnam has decided to give 16 pieces of documentary films to the Documentation Centre of Cambodia. The films detailed about the general aspects and conditions of the Khmer Rouge regime and conditions at Tuol Sleng Torture Centre which were filmed on the liberation day of 7th January, 1979.
Mr. Youk Chhang, director of the Document Centre of Cambodia, said on 24th December that on the 26th he will fly to Vietnam to receive the 16 pieces of documentary films. He said that Vietnam not only give the 16 pieces of films to his centre but also gives exclusive rights to those films.
Mr. Youk Chhang said that this is not the first time that his centre received documents from Vietnam. He said that his centre has worked with Vietnam for the last 7-8 years in the search for pictures relating to the Khmer Rouge regime.
