According to a Thai website published on 17th December reported that democracy-lovers from Chiang Rai and the red-shirted Thaksin's supporters have announced that they will give an opportunity to the Democrats Party and that they will not do anything to disrupt their rule, but said that they will ask for an amendment to the 2007 constitution and that they are against the unconstitutional powers.

However, the latest news revealed that the Red-shirted Group or the 24th June Group will return to wage a campaign to oust the Democrats Party from power. Miss Chiranan Chanthawong, a leader of the Chiang Rai Red-shirted Group, said that they will not allow the Democrats Party to rule the country because they got into power by robbing it from other people. In fairness, they should be lelected by the people, not by robbing power from other people by using political tricks. Miss Chiranan said that parliament should be dissolved and new elections held. But the manners in which the Democrats Party took power is unacceptable to them.

Miss Chiranan said on the 18th that from the afternoon all the red-shirted Thaksin's supporters will gather at Birthday Field along Thainalay Road in Chiang Rai province. After that motorcades of all motorcyles and vehicles will be driven in all roads in Chiang Rai to distribute pamphlets in support of Mr. Traisaksin Sumbunthong, governor of Chiang Rai and to protest against the Democrats Party.

Miss Chirana said that after the 24th of December, her groups will travel to Bangkok to surround the Parliament House, at a time when the Democrats Party make a speech to the parliament in order to strongly oppose its rule.

Miss Chirana said that the reason her group will travel to Bangkok earlier is because there is a possiblility that the Democrats Party will make a speech on the 25th, before the scheduled date of 26th, one day before they arrive in Bangkok.
