'Scrambled' Paedophile Suspect On Trial

Left: Christopher Neil in court in Thailand and, bottom, Experts unscrambled image

A Canadian teacher described as Interpol's most wanted paedophile has gone on trial in Thailand accused of abusing a boy.
Christopher Paul Neil, 32, is alleged to have posted hundreds of pictures on the internet of him abusing children, with his face digitally disguised.
A worldwide manhunt was triggered when German computer experts managed to unscramble the images.
If convicted at his trial in Bangkok he faces 20 years in prison.
Speaking before the proceedings he said: "I hope there will be justice in Thailand."
Neil has denied abusing the nine-year-old Thai boy.
The youngster, who contacted police after seeing Neil's face on TV, claims he was paid around £10 to perform a sexual act.
Prosecutors plan to show around 70 photographs that allegedly show Neil engaged in abuse.
The hearing has been adjourned until June 2.
Interpol launched the international appeal after the discovery of some 200 internet photos believed to show Neil sexually abusing at least a dozen Vietnamese and Cambodian boys, some as young as six.
He was arrested after flying in to Bangkok from South Korea where he worked as a teacher.
