Thai plane's tyre burst in Cambodia: official

A rear tyre burst on a Thai Airways plane as it came in to land in the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh today, aviation officials said.
Khek Norinda, communications and marketing manager for Cambodia Airport Services Management, said there were no injuries from the mishap.
He said the Airbus, carrying 160 passengers and crew from Bangkok, had just landed at 9:30am (local time) when the tyre burst.
"It's a minor accident and no one was injured," he said, adding that among the passengers was Cambodian parliament president Heng Samrin.
Earlier this month an EVA Airways flight was forced to turn back to Phnom Penh shortly after take-off due to technical problems.
Increasing numbers of tourists have dramatically increased air traffic at airports in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, near the famed Angkor temples.
