Cambodian PM to visit South Korea next week, 5 deals expected to be signed
PHNOM PENH, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen will visit South Korea next week in order to further enhance bilateral ties and cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday.
During his stay in South Korea, the prime minister will attend an ASEAN-South Korea commemorative summit on Dec. 11-12 in Busan, and pay an official visit to the country on Dec. 13-14, the ministry said in a statement.
"During the summit, the leaders will review and chart future direction of ASEAN-South Korea cooperation toward a long-lasting bond of partnership for trust and happiness between ASEAN and South Korea," it said.
Hun Sen will meet with South Korean president Park Geun-hye and the two leaders will preside over the signing ceremony of five documents, covering the bilateral cooperation in education, business, intellectual property, health care and medical science, and banking and finance.
Besides, Hun Sen will also meet Cambodian workers and students living in South Korea.
