PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Kem Sokha, vice president of Cambodia National Rescue Party, has announced that his party will take measures regarding the arrest of Boeung Kok lake residents.
He said he will ask lawmakers of CNRP to send letter to head of government to examine and find resolution for citizens.
"Another measure is that I will ask the National Assembly's commissions led by CNRP to summon the city governor to answer over the case," he said.
Kem Sokha, also vice president of the National Assembly, said he will also call on the government to release Boeung Kok land activist immediately and unconditionally.
