Sam Rainsy held a press conference about the root causes of poverty and the reasons Cambodian sought works in Thailand សន្និសីទសារព័ត៌មានស្តីពី "ជនជាតិខ្មែរ ធ្វើការនៅថៃ ដែលអាជ្ញាធរថៃ បញ្ជូនមកប្រទេសកម្ពុជាវិញ”
root cause of poverty is greed.... and every country has that problem no just cambodia... and worst of all the greedy ones are always in power... politicians can and will be bought by money from big corporations and bankers.... it does not matter '' who ''...they may be innocent and caring when first elected but give these politicians a few years/terms in office and they start to grow mold and began to take bribe...
When Mr. Hun Sen saved Cambodia from the jaw of Khmer Rouges, the country was bankrupted, reset to zero. He has been working hard to revive the country, bring jobs into Cambodia for the poor.
Recently Mr. Hun Sen facilitates the garment industry for Cambodia, creates 650,000 jobs, brings in 5.5 billion US dollars a year. This was done by skipping the lengthy and costly phase of building the power plants. Mr. Hun Sen simply buys the electricity from Vietnam and quickly establish the garment factories.
But the opposition attacks Mr. Hun Sen by creating instability to drive jobs away. Unless Mr. Hun Sen allows them to take over the government, they will not stop attacking the industry and destroy the jobs for the poors.
I urge Mr. Hun Sen to protect the poors at all cost. International Community is supporting Mr. Hun Sen.
