PHNOM PENH ( The Cambodia Herald)- Cambodia's Ministry of Tourism says CNN International described the Angkor Wat temple as being in Thailand in a posting on its Facebook page earlier this week. In a statement on its website, the ministry said "many people, especially Cambodians, suffered a rude shock" on Wednesday when they saw the posting. The caption reportedly said: "Thailand's Angkor Wat is only no. 6 - so what's the world's top landmark?" The ministry said the posting was "highly unacceptable by many who had expressed disgust since CNN International is of high repute. "The Ministry of Tourism promptly wrote to CNN International to seek an explanation and for immediate redress," it said, adding that it had received two emailed apologies. "We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for caring and urge that you join us in accepting the mistake on the CNN International facebook page to be an innocent human error," the ministry said.

This just ignorant of CNN who called themselves professional journalist. They don't even know world history. They should learned real world history before they start yaking away. Angkor Wat was and always in every Cambodian blood and heart. Heart and soul of the nation. These westerner seem very bias toward a country that they viewed as unimportant to them. Cambodia are not their favorites prostitute place, lady boy place, land of fake smile, our peoples are poorer and unable to make them rich. Cambodian are genuine smiles and kinds, strong even though we went through so much. We need the uninformed, bias CNN staff to apology on world news. E-mailed apologies not enough to informed the world audiences. This is the problems with Hun Sen he always sale Cambodian short. WE NEED FULL APOLOGIES.
Last week this idiotic Jeff Murdict argued for the Viets about Koh Tral and Kampuchea Krom. Poor, weak, innocent peoples like Khmer don't seem to get any justices. Keep hopes up, keep going forward, keep fighting for our reconition. We are proud race.
CNN is a propaganda tool of the CIA... many times they reported fake news... like the incident caught on tape which its '' journalist was standing in the studio in front of blue/green screen and with computer manipulation the people saw that reporter standing in Iraq reporting [fake ]rockets landing [ all computerized] on their TV set etc...their reporters have been caught this way many times some of the videos are still on youtube for all to see... if one want to know the truth , the real truth not the truth which the gov want people to see.
