Cambodia, S. Korea sign US$21 mln aid agreement

Cambodia's Foreign Minister Hor Namhong (R), and South Korea's Ambassador to Cambodia, Kim Han-Soo, sign aid agreement of US$21 million at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on June 2, 2014


PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- South Korea provides US$21 million in grant aid to Cambodia for implementation of four projects in the country. 

The grand aid was signed today between Cambodia's Foreign Minister Hor Namhong and South Korea's Ambassador to Cambodia, Kim Han-Soo, at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. 

The four projects are as follows:

1 -- Self-supporting rural development project with Saemaul Undong (SMU)'s participatory approach up to amount of US$8 million

2 -- Project for securities market development in Cambodia up to amount US$2.5 million

3 -- Cambodia Health Sector Support Program (HSSP) up to amount US$5 million

4 -- Project for Feasibility Study on Waterway Improvement for Port Logistics Development in Cambodia up to amount US$5.5 million.
