Dear Editor,
I would like to express my disappointment with the headline of the Post’s Friday, April 18, article "Rainsy courts Vietnamese".
I had no electoral consideration in mind when giving my point of view on the issue you raised. My only concern then was to help the public understand that the CNRP will implement the rule of law regardless of any ethnic consideration.
As a matter of fact, given the current mindset of many Khmer-born citizens, I think the CNRP would lose more votes from the large Khmer-descent majority than it would gain from the small Vietnamese-descent minority.
But this is a political risk worth taking and an educational challenge worth facing for the sake of the nation, which must progress on the basis of the rule of law and respect for human rights.

If you born in Srok Khmer,she/he will possesses Khmer's citizens period.Its called natural born citizens.Those yuon nor Chen are Khmer citizens 100% only problems were illegal yuon that born at Srok yuon came to robs and steals khmer's land, that is the pro lams!...Everyone is under the law,whoever violation of the laws must be prosecuted illegal/alien/legal or citizens alike.
