PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) – The Cambodian Red Cross received over US$14.3 millions donated by thousands of government officials, diplomatic officials and development partners who joined the celebration of the 151th of World Red Cross Red Crescent Day.
The ceremony at the CRD’s headquarter was attended by Prime Minister Hun Sen and Bun Rany Hun Sen, the CRC’s president.
Bun Rany thanked national and international generous people, especially Queen Mother and King as well as the Royal Government of Cambodia which always supports the humanitarian activities.
At the ceremony, Hun Sen praised the activities of the Cambodian Red Cross, and called for further participation.
Last year, the CRC received about US$14 millions.
