Minister of Foreign Affairs Hor Namhong met Tuesday with Vietnamese deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh during the 13th Meeting of the Cambodia-Vietnam Joint Commission for Economic, Cultural, Scientific and Technological Cooperation in Phnom Penh.
The two discussed issues including enhancing bilateral trade, electricity production and demarcation of the shared border, according to foreign affairs spokesman Koy Kuong.
“Both sides will try to increase bilateral trade to reach $5 billion in 2015, which should not be difficult as it was already at about $3 billion in 2013,” Mr. Kuong said.
Vietnam also agreed to sell Cambodia 200-mw worth of electricity, he said.
Mr. Namhong also thanked Mr. Binh Minh for the hundreds of scholarships the country provides to Cambodian students to study in Vietnamese institutions.
Both countries are making efforts to expedite the demarcation of the border, where about 217 markers have been placed already, Mr. Kuong added.
“We have demarcated about 76 percent of the border,” he said.

It's time that enough is enough,stop trusting Yiekcong nor Cpp regime. United as one voice fight back before it too late like Champa,Kampuchea krom or Laos!...
