Three independent and trusted sources have said that Hun Sen has recruited his trusted 3-star general from Region No. 2, Chhoeur Sovantha ឈឿ

to assassinate Sam Rainsy.
Choeur Sovantha is reportedly the same general who gained Hun Sen's trust in carrying out the coup in 1997.
The
recruitment of Choeur Sovantha came after Hun Sen failed to have the
regular military and police force agree to do his bidding.
Reportedly, Hun Sen's order to Choeur Sovantha is straight-forward: SHOOT TO KILL. The assassination of Sam Rainsy.

If Hun Sen is willing to do that, Cambodian People not only go after Hun Sen's life, but his whole family including the innocent one, if there is an innocent one. People just simply got fed-up with the regime, when the vast majority of people really gotten tired with their government of every aspect of their daily life, every morning when they wake up, all they see is hopelessness, inequality, unjust society, endless sight of poverty, they simply has nothing else to lose, this government better watch-out. No matter how the minority want to translating to, for the vast majority of the people, their lives are still the same, the next morning, afternoon, and evening are the same. There are a lot of bad thing happened around the world, when people simply got fed-up with the system of government.

This news is only a rumor, but Hun Sen has killed many innocent Khmers and many opposition figures in the past like in 1997 coup, 1998 post election and so on, so I think Hun Sen is not afraid to do it again. However, if Hun Sen does that, it would be the end of his rule and, probably, his life like Saddam Hussein or Gaddafi.
If Hun Sen make this coward choice to kill Honorable Sam Rainsy and his party, we the people will kill his whole family and his crooked clan. Enough is enoungh, we the Cambodian people are no longer afraid of you.

2. At this critical situation, he must not leave Cambodia for a family's wedding unless he would meet some of American leaders or very important tasks .

Mr. Hun Sen, you have to think that the last election your party got 90 seats with tremendous support from the people (which I have never believed and truth the election result) you were always have so many bodyguards to protect you because you did not trust the Cambodian people. This term it requires 100 times as many as of bodyguards that you had for the last term to protect you and it may not guaranty your safety because Cambodian people are reaching the point that they do not want your leadership anymore.

It may be a rumour. But Hun Sen is well known for killing hundreds of oppositions members when HunnSen refused to step down. Hun Sen is not afraid of killing potential threats.
