ស្ថានភាពនយោបាយបច្ចុប្បន្ននៅកម្ពុជាគួរឲ្យបារម្ភ។
រដ្ឋភិបាលបានបង្កើនភាពតានតឹង ជាជាងបន្ធូភាពតានតឹង​ ដោយធ្វើការបង្កើនការចល័តទ័ព និងការសង់របងដែកជុំវិញអាគាររដ្ឋសភា ដែលនេះបញ្ជាក់ថាលោក ហ៊ុន សែន កំពុងតែ «បិទទ្វារវាយឆ្កែ»។​វិធានការរបស់រដ្ឋាភិបាលចាំផ្ទះរបស់លោក ហ៊ុន សែន របៀបនេះ, រួមទាំងភាពស្ទាក់ស្ទើរក្នុងការបង្កើតគណកម្មការស៊ើបអង្កេតចម្រុះនោះ, បញ្ជាក់ថា លោក ហ៊ុន សែន មិនមានឆន្ទះនយោបាយក្នុងការដោះស្រាយជម្លោះនៃការបោះឆ្នោតតាមសន្តិវិធីឡើយ។
មូយវិញទៀត ការព្យួរការសហការផ្នែកយោធាជាមួយនឹងសហរដ្ឋអមេរិក អាចនឹងបង្កើនភាពអមិត្តថែមទៀតជាមួយនឹងមហាអំណាចមួយនេះ ដែលប្រទេសកម្ពុជាត្រូវការជាងប្រទេសណាៗទាំងអស់ក្នុងលោកនេះ។
តើលោក ហ៊ុន​សែន យល់ថាការកំញើញតាមផ្នែកយោធាអាចនឹងបំបាក់ស្មារតីអ្នកបោះឆ្នោតបានឬ? លោក ហ៊ុន សែន គួរតែយល់ថា កងយោធានៅពេលនេះមិនមែនសុទ្ធតែស្មោះស្ម័គ្រជាមួយលោក ហ៊ុន សែន ទាំងអស់ទេ។ ក្រោយការបោះឆ្នោតលើកនេះគេសង្កេតឃើញថា កងយោធា ប៉ូលិស និងមន្ត្រីរាជការភាគច្រើនគឺមានជំនោរនយោបាយទោរទន់ច្រើនមកខាងគណបក្សប្រឆាំង។ ដូចនេះ កងយោធាអាចនឹងមិនស្តាប់បញ្ជារបស់លោក ហ៊ុន សែន ដើម្បីនឹងបង្ក្រាបហ្វូងបាតុករ។ មួយវិញទៀត បើសិនជាកងយោធាស្តាប់បញ្ជាលោក ហ៊ុន សែន ហើយបង្ក្រាបបាតុករដោយអំពើឃោរឃៅនោះ តើសហគមន៍អន្តរជាតិនឹងមានប្រតិកម្មយ៉ាងណា?
ចម្លើយគឺថា គណបក្សប្រជាជនត្រូវតែសុខចិត្តបង្កើតគណកម្មការឯករាជមួយដើម្បីស៊ើបអង្កេតភាពមិនប្រក្រតី និងដោះស្រាយជម្លោះដោយសន្តិវិធី ដើម្បីជៀសវាងការបង្ហូរឈាមរាស្ត្រស្លូតត្រង់ និងដើម្បីជៀសវាងវិបត្តិនយោបាយធ្ងន់ធ្ងរនៅកម្ពុជា។
The current political developments in Cambodia is worrisome.
The government has created more tensions rather than easing the tensions, with more troop mobilisations and the construction of a steel fence around the parliament house compound indicates that Mr. Hun Sen "is closing the door to beat the dogs".
These measures taken by a caretaker government of Mr. Hun Sen, coupled with his reluctance to form a joint committee to investigate the election irregularities, indicates that Mr. Hun Sen has no political will to resolve the election dispute peacefully.
Furthermore, the suspension of military co-operations with the United States could cause further enmity with this superpower, which is a country Cambodia needed the most on this entire planet.
Does Mr. Hun Sen think that military provocations could break the spirit of the Cambodian voters? Mr. Hun Sen must understand that not all sections of the military are loyal to him. After this election, there are clear indications that the army, the police and civil servants are more sympathetic with, and more inclined to support, the opposition. Therefore, the army might not follow Mr. Hun Sen's orders to crack down on protesters. On the contrary, if the army did follow Mr. Hun Sen to crack down on protesters by using brute force, what would be the international reactions?

The answer is, the ruling Cambodian People's Party must agree to form an independent committee to investigate election irregularities and to ​resolve the election dispute peacefully in order to avoid bloodshed with innocent Khmer people and to avoid deepening political crisis in Cambodia.
