I think the Vietnamese wanted Hun Sen to step down and he refused. The CPP is in internal conflict because of this. Hun Sen could put a bullet into Sam Rainsy's head anytime he stepped down the airport, but the Vietnamese are not not allowing that. The Vietnamese want better relationship with the US and her allies, that is why they asked Hun Send to step down.

31 July 2013 1:23 am,

Vietnam wants to control Cambodia and never asked Hun Sen to step down or ask his sons of Hun Sen to lead, but it is a nepotism.

Get rid of the Yuou/Viet CPP parasites in Cambodian Government affairs who are the real Yuon/Vietnamese crooks hiding in Cambodian Government affairs (who serve Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh) and those f**king Yuon/Vietnamese CPP crooks and thieves as Hun Sen's advisers, telling and suggesting Hun Sen what to do to hurt and punish Cambodian/Khmer people who are owners of Cambodian land. Sack all those f**king Yuon/Vietnamese CPP parasites (Yuon/Vietnamese crooks and thieves) and destroy them as soon as possible.

Please ask Cambodian Military Officials and Generals and other parties (Funcipec, etc) to join forces with the Cambodian National Rescue Party in order to save Cambodia country and Cambodian people.

YES DEFINITELY CNRP IS A WINNER NO QUESTION. WE WILL RUN THE GOVERNMENT IN THE NEAR FUTURE OR BEFORE AUGUST 31, 2013. WE WILL PUT ALL THE CPP CROOKS IN THE CAGE AND SEND THEM TO EXECUTION. WE WILL GET ALL THEIR POSSESSION BACK TO ALL KHMER DEMOCRACY HANDS.

Please let the political process works itself out peacefully between the CPP and CNRP and let the Military/Police forces remain neutral for the protection of all Khmer citizen from outsider and not take side internally. This will be the best future for all Khmer and should start now and with the hope that the CNRP would be able to run the next government. Change is definitely needed and is coming.

There are 1000 men like Hun Sen who will more than happy to take over Hun Sen. You still get the same man with a different mask. What only matters is how Vietnam wants to define the relationship with the new regime. Hun Sen will not give up without a fight if he got the support from his boss. Now his boss wants to define a new government in Cambodia. You and I are not politicians. We have to watch and let the political process take its path.

Don't jump ship yet. Hun sen and CPP are still have more cards to play including make concession to Cambodia's neighbors for their support. To survive in wild wild Cambodia politics, people have to learn to be patient and adapted. Hun Sen is not dead and still vibrant and strong. Be careful, You will be sorry. Wait and see up to a month or two months who will be coming strong.

There is definitely internal conflict within the CPP. After a heavy loss, many CPP leaders squarely blamed on Hun Sen's poor leadership and they wanted him to step down. However, I don't believe that other CPP leaders are ready to jump ship yet because they still have a lot to gain for staying with Hun sen, but a lot to lose for switching to Rainsy because Hun Sen will kill them as he controlled everything - police, army etc.

Vietnam has too much to lose if hun sen step down. Billion of dollars of revenue from cambodia with hun sen remaining as the prime minister of cambodia and cnrp is a very serious threat to vietnam. Hun sen will lose all his money and face international court after he step down. Vietnam encourage hun sen to fight until his last breath.

I am now proud that all Khmers , especially the young generation have waked up and fought for our vote right against the communist oppressor, and didn't count on foreign countries to fight for us

Always the (bad or good)winner takes all, and will be recognised by international.

We can see no international delegates have been sent to monitor our election, because they were sure (all the international newspapers too)t hat HUNXEN would certainly win thanks to his massive frauds.

What they wanted was a pretence of democracy, peace, stability. Anyway they couldn't involve all the time in all the problems occurred in all the undeveloped countries, they face their own concerns too.

So all khmers must to liberate ourselves alone and heaven will help us later.

United we stand, divided we fall, and this time we stand

Why no prompt reaction from the CNRP to the government and NEC blunt refusal right now? They should have expected it.

Rumour is that Hun Sen have fled the country either hidding in Vietnam or Thailand. As Vietnamese are trying to kill him, It is most likely that Hun Sen has fled the country to Thailand.

Vietnamese must find Hun Sen and make sure to drag his lifeless corpse through the city of Phnom Penh for the crimes against humanity and crimes for the killing of innocent Khmer.
