PHNOM PENH, 7th June 2013 (The Cambodia Herald) -- The Ministry of Interior has
approved the request of the Khmer Rouge victims to hold a protest
against Kem Sokha on Sunday, an official from the ministry said.
"Deputy Prime Minister, Sar Kheng, approved Phnom Penh City Hall's request submitted yesterday," Khieu Sopheak, spokesman for Ministry of Interior, told The Cambodia Herald Friday.
He said, the ministry permits 10,000 people to gather at Democratic Park, but can only allow 500 representatives to go to the National Rescue party's (NRP) headquarters to present the petition to Kem Sokha.
The non-violent protest initiated by Chum Mey, a Tuol Sleng prison survivor, demand Kem Sokha to publicly apologize to spirits of the dead at Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.
Two lawmakers of the ruling Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) announced recently that they will join the protest against the opposition leader.
"As a Cambodian and a lawmaker, I will join this non-violent protest with other Cambodians and Tuol Sleng survivors on Sunday,” said Chheang Vun, a CPP lawmaker.

Kem Sokha’s comments including the one that said, Tuol Sleng prison was a Vietnamese invention, has provoked outrage among the victims of the Khmer Rouge regime.

My predictions
1) permits 10,000:
There will be more than 20,000.
2) allow 500 representatives:
All of the demonstrators will march to NRP headquarters.
3) The non-violent protest:
Youn-Khmer spies will be in there. They will create chaos and take this moment to kill more Khmer and tell the world that Khmer civil war happens again as in Khmer rouge regime. The Youn-Khmer wait for this moment for a long time.
Chum Mey, all those Khmer souls knew that the mastermind behind the S-21 massacre is Viet Cong! Why are you the only ignorant alive are so blind.
