Opposition leader asked to appear in the court
PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- Opposition
leader Kem Sokha was summoned by the Phnom Penh Municipal Court to
appear on June 27 regarding a defamation lawsuit filed by Chum Mey,
Khmer Rouge Toul Sleng prison survivor, said a party official.
The official who asked to not be named, said the letter was sent to Kem Sokha but he wasn't there to accept it because he's currently in Australia.
Kem Sokha, acting president of the National Rescue Party (NRP), faced the lawsuit filed by Chum Mey after he allegedly said that Toul Sleng Prison was an "artificial” place conjured up by Vietnam. However, he denied the accusation saying that he has never made such a statement.
Chum Mey decided to file the lawsuit against the opposition leader after a protest he had led against Kem Sokha demanding he shall apologize for his statement.

if that would be the case, we need to storm the court, whoever that judge is, need to find a place to hide. It is just not right doing that during the election. Clearly, the court is being controlled by CPP. Let's have a mass protest against this behavior.

Then, after the court hearing Dictator & Traitor Hun Sen orders his monkey judges to lock up Mr. Kem Sokha the day before the election.

Hun Sen is a traitor who signed to give away Khmer territory and Koh Tral to Vietnam. He and his wife ordered the assassination of Hun Sen's mistress Pisith Pilika.
Kem Sokha really screwed up. If he had kept his mouth shut and just campaign , these mess can be avoided.
Now the party is thrown into the mess because getting thrown out of Parlimen. Kem Sokha screwed up once again on the name change for the new NRP. More excuses for Hun Sen to win. Now some NRP ask for sanctions? Hun Sen could care less now, he's got guns and money to feed his army. The average Khmers just get poorer for sanctions. No way we be stupid again.
We ask sanctions only on Hun Sen, Hem Samrin and Chea Sim.
24 June 2013 5:04 am. Ah CPP chkae, you are wrong. Now Kem Sokha is getting more popular, because noone believes ah Kwak the Youn dog.
Even if Kem Sohka, stand on the other side of the road, Ah Kwak Hun Sen will make up a crimminal law to prosecute Kem Sokha for standing on the wrong side.
Use your brain to help Khmer
It took more than 10 years to enacted the corruption laws by Cambodian House of Congress, however, it takes only three days to enacted the defamation law of "Toul Sleng Prison" by the majority dominated CPP party Cambodian House of Congress. This is what we call "The Nazi law!"
