PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) -- The Funcinpec
Party will still maintain its position and file a lawsuit against an
opposition leader over his comments accusing the King Father of being
behind the 1970 coup that toppled the government, an official said
Friday.
Kong Korm, President of the Sam Rainsy Party, said that Marshal Lon Nol’s coup in 1970 was ordered by Norodom Sihanouk.
"The
Funcinpec Party will still maintain its position and file a complaint
against Sam Rainsy Party leader Kong Korm to seek justice for the King
Father," said Nhiek Bunchhay, Secretary General of the Funcinpec Party.
“The Party will sue Kong Korm for defamation and insulting the honor of
King Father, Norodom Sihanouk."
“The complaint might be filed
after the election," he added. "We will not file lawsuit during the
election campaign because we don’t want the opposition party to accuse
us of causing disorder to the political environment ahead of general
election."
Bunchhay also raised a question on where Prince
Sisowath Thomico's loyalties lie. The Prince had joined the National
Rescue Party (NRP) a few months earlier.
“If Prince Sisowath
Thomico loves the King Father, he will appear in order to find justice
for him," he said, adding that if Thomico doesn’t dare sue Kong Korm he
doesn't love the King Father.

Before the 1970 Coup d'état , Sihanouk ordered Lon Nol to form a Rescue Government
to revive Cambodia economy as well as to control Vietcong because more rice &
domestic farm products were smuggled to the Vietcong bases inside Cambodia .
Cambodia lost tax revenue from the smuggled rice & Sihanouk was not happy . He normalized relation with the USA in 1969 & order Lon Nol to seek help from Son Ngoc
Thanh to control Vietcong from spilling into deep inside Cambodia .
The Coup was unexpected & it was the work of Monique foster father ,Sisowath Sirikmatak . To be fair , the Municipal Court must summon Lon Nol & Sihamouk to
testify , cannot rely on Doctor Nhek Boon Chhay 's history .
The queen mother cannot be impartial because she ran away from Sirikmatak to live
with Prince Sihanouk against queen Kosomak advice ...

Cambodia History was rewritten by the Khmer leaders, for many time in the past .
- Pol Pot rewrote that his Khmer Rouge Movement started from 1960 - not 1951
- Hun Sen rewrote that he was the HEROE head of 7 Makara - not Pen Sovann .
- Bandita Nhek Boon Chhay has his own history rewritten .
The Khmer Rouge Genocide was started from the Coup d'état of 1970 , therefore ;
Nhek boon Chhay should file his lawsuit at UN Khmer Rouge Trial Court in P. Penh .
This is a good opportunity for the UN court judge to hear from Bandit Nhek about the
event which Sihanouk refused to testify . I think Bandit Nhek is aiming his gun at
Hun Sen foot per CPP order .

You are an idiot. Couldn't you read, the lawsuit will be filed after the election. Then we will convict the people who offended the King, and let him pay, even serve time in jail so he learn to say carefully. The NRP has the habit of spewing out insults at people and throwing salt on wounds. Learn to control your mouths.

While I were joint forces as of the so-called MolinaKa anti communist party of the Cpp, leading by Youn Yiek Cong at western border( Khmer-Thai). At that time the leading forces of MolinaKa was controlling by Mr. Kong Silois and I had met Nhiek Bunnchhai as he wanted to fight against Youn too of that time.
That was in past. But now Bunchhai was sold his consciences to his enemy and fully serve his enemy for fact because of his promotion with less power insight of coalition of Cpp's gov but only Srey Snae and the power to fight back against the Khmer nationalism. By the end this guy he was absolutely trust on Yiek Cong with a 100 percent, you must remember as Youn/Y.cong they are never and ever trust you at all, Okay APleu Chkout. Guess what this guy should have been killed if I had known that he was a traitor to our motherland since.
