CHON BURI: Immigration police arrested 59 illegal migrant workers from Cambodia in Bang Lamung district on Wednesday afternoon.

The officers searched a construction site in tambon Nong Prua and
asked migrant workers to show their passports or substitute travel
document.
Police detained 59 Cambodian males and females at the camp after they
failed to present the documents. They were charged with illegal entry
and would be deported, police said.
The arrest is part of a crackdown on illegal foreign labourers in the province.
