Heng Sour, Director General and Chief of Administration and Finance Unit at Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, said since 2007, more than 20 thousand workers have been working in South Korea, including 3,600 female workers.
Cambodian citizens in South Korea work in the industrial sector, construction sector, fishing and farming sectors, Heng Sour said, adding that they can earn around $1,000-1,200 per month.
South Korea has allowed 15 countries around the globe to send their people to work in its country via an allowance from the South Korean Ministry of labor.
