PHNOM PENH, 18 February 2013 (The Cambodia Herald)- More than 100,000 residents of the
capital were living temporarily in 511 areas in 2012, up from 503 areas
in 2011, Phnom Penh City Hall said Monday.
The sites covered 3.6 million square meters and included 23,546 households.
The city hall said Phnom Penh's population of 1,329,913 people included about 16,000 registered foreigners.
It said the land management commission received six complaints over land disputes in 2012 in addition to 69 in 2011. Of these, authorities had solved five complaints, rejected eight and were finding solutions to another 60 complaints. Two complaints were withdrawn.

The city hall said 1,380 families in Borei Keila had moved into buildings constructed by property developer Phanimex Co.
