PHNOM PENH (The Cambodia Herald) - The National Election Committee said
Friday that parliamentary elections in July would cost $21 million, or
about $2 for each registered voter.
Speaking at a news conference, NEC Secretary General Tep Nitha said the cost per voter was the same as 2008, when it spent about $17 million.
He said the budget for this year covered all expenditures but welcomed assistance from friendly countries as well as national and international non-government organizations.
Tep Nitha said the voter list as of November 31 would be posted on the NEC website on Saturday and close a day before the election on July 28.
NEC official Havan Sivilai said 9,675,453 voters including 940,445 new voters and 5,081,843 women were eligible to cast ballots at 19,009 stations. The official said 468,485 names had been removed from the list and 92,366 adjusted.
Kong Korm, president of the opposition Sam Rainsy Party, told reporters Friday that he could not yet comment on the numbers.

Looking at the pictures of those idiot, they are not Khmer/Cambodian at all (i.e., National Election Committee Secretary General Tep Nitha is a Vietnamese secret agent and his Vietnamese secret agents sitting along side), but they are hidden Yuon/Vietnamese agents dressing up as civilians, speaking, writing and reading Cambodian/Khmer language.
Can you Khmer people and patriots point out and make the reports to the United Nations (UN) and International Community leaders to share the information about the those suspicious NEC in CPP Office in Phnom Penh.
Tell or write the letter to European leaders, International Community, the U.S. Officials and Mr. President Barack Obama about these hidden and suspicious Yuon/Vietnamese agents working inside Cambodian government to control the election and cheat the election.
