The following information was released by Rossmoor Predator Management Team (RPMT).

Dr. Chan (pictured), a Los Alamitos physician, and approximately 30 medical (doctors, dentists, nurses -volunteers) will be compiling medical supplies for their trip to Cambodia in February to administer free medical care to the needy. This takes approximately 6 days of packing medical supplies to allow them to make this trip. All volunteers pay their own expenses. The Cambodian Health Professionals Association of America also provide medical care to Southern California residents.
Dr. Daniel Chan is a practicing family practitioner for Healthcare Partners in Los Alamitos. Dr. Chan is consistently found working from early mornings to late in the evening now that the flu season is here. What does he do on his yearly vacation?
Dr. Chan flies to Cambodia paying his own expenses and treats the poor who cannot afford medical attention. He belongs to Cambodian Health Professionals Association of America (CHPAA). CHPAA.org is an impartial, neutral and independent organization that is exclusively humanitarian, working to promote health and social well being through ongoing service and education to medically underserved Cambodians living in both America and Cambodia.

Dr. Chan has stated “having survived the years of terror in Cambodia and now living a comfortable life in America, I am thrilled to have an opportunity to look beyond myself and aid those who are still facing uncertainties. I cannot measure the fulfillment it gives me back in return. And nothing would move my heart more than seeing other people joining in on this great cause.” —Daniel Chan, M.D.
CHPAA.org is planning their 2013 journey back to Cambodia. Your volunteer efforts or assistance would be more than welcome in providing an impact: www.chpaa.org/Home.html
