During Cold War , China was the "war lord", Cambodia and Vietnam were "war slaves" . China made and shipped weapons to Cambodia through Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh Trail .
When Deng Xiping visited the USA in 1979, preparing to invade Vietnam, he complained to the US president that "China spent over twenty (20) billion dollars in Indochina War but Vietnam was so ungrateful . Vietnam was also used by China, Pol Pot complained to China leader, in 1967, that Vietnam did not want to help Khmer Rouge prepare an armed revolt against Sihanouk .
Vietnam did not want to disturb Sihanouk who closed his eyes by letting the Vietcong troops stationing inside Cambodia and helped to supply weapons, food and medicine. China asked Vietnam to send unit
P36 to train Pol Pot. Vietcong did reluctantly. China got involved deeply
in INDOCHINA WAR and Sihanouk called on young Khmers to join the Khmer Rouge in the Marquis [jungle] from
Beijing, not from Hanoi .
Weapons were made in China and transported to the jungle. After the war, China sent thousand of advisors to help Pol Pot who had to pay China gratitude
with 3 million Khmer lives. China imported agriculture products from
Cambodia while Million of Khmers were starving to death. China was the war pusher and has been the exploiter, not the saviour of Cambodia.

Dear folks , do you remember ? Pol Pot was China slave .
When China was at odd with Vietnam over Paracel & spratly
islands in late 1970's , China sent huge amount of military
supply to Democratic Kampuchea , including airplanes &
tanks . China also sent experts from PLA to train Khmer
Rouge young soldiers . China was preparing Pol Pot armed
force to go to war with Vietnam .
Now , China is shipping military supply to Cambodia and
signed MOU for Chinese military experts to train Khmer soldiers . Is china preparing Hun Sen armed force to go to
war again ( over South China Sea ) ?
China is stepping up military aid and training Khmer soldiers for another proxy war .
Hun Sen put Cambodia in heavy debt so that he has to do China favor , exactly what
Pol Pot did in the late 1970's . China will pitch Khmer force against the other Asian members for China interests- Cambodia armed force will be mercenary force of
China .
