You Might Even Want to Visit Cambodia After Watching This Video

cambodia_video.jpg
Cambodia isn't exactly a place that tops many people's travel destination lists but after viewing this beautiful time-lapse video, you might feel differently. The place looks almost as stunning as Vegas.
YouTuber Andy Blalock created the video using clips shot over a six week time period. While the video was not created for any official purpose, aside from the fact it's as good or better than most tourism videos, Blalock, in his video description, calls attention to the plight of child sex trafficking and points to a site that addresses the issue.

(CBS News) We've seen a lot of great time-lapse videos here at The Feed. But the video above is a very different kind of time-lapse experience than any we've seen before. Grab your passport, click play and take a vicarious trip to Cambodia. I'd recommend watching in high-definition.
The fast-paced, hyperkinetic travel experience is entitled "Cambodia Hyperlapse - Moving Timelapse" and was created by Andy Blalock who writes about the project:

A movie I made to stretch my creative and technical abilities - Ive grown tired of the standard timelapse and wanted to help push the genre in a more exciting direction.
Shot on a 7d
I made this on weekends and holidays over the timespan of 6 weeks and edited most of each of the timelapses as I went to avoid an extreme backlog. I used a simple tripod and $8 intervalometer for most of the shots - no expensive equipment was used like dollies or steadicams. Thanks for watching!
I don't know about you, but it feels like going on an exotic trip through the lens of a rave party... and I like it! What did you all think about this style? Feel free to leave some comment love below. And to check out more work from Andy Blalock, you can visit his website by clicking here.
