In celebration of
International Human Rights Day, the Cambodian
Center for Human Rights (“CCHR”) releases today – 10 December 2012 – a
chronology of key events related to human rights violations in the Kingdom of
Cambodia (“Cambodia”).
The chronology, which highlights cases of human
rights violations such as assassinations and extra-judicial executions,
harassment of journalists and human rights defenders, torture, land conflicts
and more, as well as key developments related to the improvement of human
rights in Cambodia, covers the period from 1993 – the date of
adoption of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia (“Constitution”) – to today.
