CAMBODIAN TOP THREE OPPOSITION LEADERS IN EUROPE
Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) President Sam Rainsy arrived today in Italy to attend the 7th Consultative Assembly of Parliamentarians for the International Criminal Court (ICC) to take place in Rome on December 10 & 11.
Accompanied by Kem Sokha, President of the Human Rights Party (HRP)and future Vice-President of the CNRP, Sam Rainsy will be in Austria on December 15 to 17. The pair will meet on the weekend with Cambodian communities in Linz and on Monday with Austrian Members of Parliament and government officials in Vienne.
Joined in France next week by Kong Korm, the newly elected President of the Sam Rainsy Party (SRP), the top three opposition leaders will visit Cambodian communities in a number of cities in France.
In the first week of January 2013, Sam Rainsy and Kem Sokha will fly from Paris to Helsinki where they will be welcomed by the Cambodian community in Finland. Meetings with Finnish parliamentarians and government officials are also expected to take place in Helsinki.
