[Australia's] Manly Grade Cricket: Cambodia the driving force

Manly Waratahs cricket legend Mike Pawley and first grade skipper Tim Cruickshank are passionate about improving living conditions in Cambodia.

TIM Cruickshank is confident his team can secure back-to-back wins in what poses as a bumper weekend for the Waratahs.
Defending 230, they will chase six wickets in their two-day clash with Gordon at Chatswood Oval before hosting Campbelltown-Camden in a Twenty20Cup quarter-final from 2.30pm on Sunday.
Harry Evans and Iain Beverley are the two scalps the Waratahs need early on a deck which should suit the home side.
"It is evenly poised, if we send a few of their boys packing early we are in the hunt," the Manly skipper said.
"Ideally we would have liked a few more runs, but we have to get on with things and field out of our skins."
Tomorrow the star-studded Ghosts will grace Manly Oval in a clash laden with Twenty20 match winners who took part in last season's Big Bash League.
The away side includes Scott and Adam Coyte and one time Australian quick Dirk Nannes, while the Waratahs have Steve O'Keefe, Adam Crosthwaite and their captain.
Cruickshank would love to see a big crowd, with the game doubling as a fundraiser for Mike Pawley's "Happy Days" Charity, which collects funds for impoverished children in Cambodia.
"It is a cause close to Mike's heart, he has done so much for the area and I support him 100 per cent," he said.
