The spokesperson of Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the Commission, issued the following statement
today:
"The High Representative expresses her serious concern over the sentencing of Mr Mom Sonando, head of the Association of Democrats of Cambodia and director of the Beehive radio and his codefendants, Mr Phorn Sreoun, Mr Touch Ream and Mr Kann Sovann, by the Phnom Penh
Municipal Court on 1 October 2012. This conviction raises severe doubts about the impartiality and independence of the Court.

The High Representative calls on the Government of Cambodia to protect the fundamental right of
all persons to hold and freely express their opinions in a peaceful manner, in accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the international Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, to which Cambodia is a party. Governments have the obligation to protect the freedom of expression and the independence of media. This is especially important in view of the Cambodian elections in 2013."

it was fair verdict by court
3 October 2012 12:35 AM is a Vietnamese thief was hired by Hanoi slave Hun Sen to copy and paste on here. Yuon thief (Khmer-Yuon thief in Long Beach) is still around.

It was not fair nor just. You know very well that the Khmer Court is not an independent Court. The Court serves the autocrat government. Do not force yourself to speak or act against your own conscience and wisdom because you will rest in peace for the rest of your life.

The last sentence should read:

Forget this little baby's gook that born between 1979-now under oppression Hun Yuon sen,He/she doesn't know what is the meaning of living free or dying free,this gook used to be controlled ever since their parents was in the jungle up to now, he like it that way.even if he/she came to lived abroad he/she still wanted to be controlled.

No one make war against any nation, we are talking about injustice verdict against innocent man Mr Mam Sonondo putting him in jail for 20 yrs without any evidences.Is that what you call making war or killing? Oh come on! You know better than to corrupted your own soul against an innocent man,how can you sleep with your wife at night knowing that you have commited atrocity against innocent Mr Mam Sonondo?

It is injustice and victimization like this that the Khmer Rouge movement was born. If Hun Sen continues his victimization and persecution of innocent people, maybe another Khmer Rouge-style movement might be born.
according to law's he was found guilty, so it was fair verdict.
