Rin Saveth, Sokun Nisa to perform together in America

PHNOM PENH (Cambodia Herald) - Singer Rin Saveth and former team member Sokun Nisa are teaming up to perform together in the United States, according to the latest issue of Popular Magazine.

The two singers are expected to leave on October 23 and are among the many Cambodian entertainers who have been seeking fame and fortune abroad this year.

Rin Saveth dismissed rumors that he hoped to find an American lover. "I'm going to perform for fans and have never thought of having a lover over there," he said.

Observers say Rin Saveth has saved a lot of money since completing his French language studies last year. He is considered a good son for building a house for his parents and still gets around by motorcycle.

Sokun Nisa is meanwhile being pursued by a wealthy American businessman who fell in love with her when she performed with Kakronapich in the United States last year.
