Westpark School had some very special visitors on Tuesday morning who traveled a long way to share their stories.
Children from the Place of Rescue Orphanage and AIDS Centre came to Westpark School in order to perform some traditional Cambodian dances and tell the student body about their stories.
Place of Rescue is located in a village outside of Phnom Penh, Cambodia which provides a place for terminal AIDS patients to live with their families, as well as a place for children orphaned by AIDS can live.

The centre also offers a rec centre, a learning centre, baby houses where orphaned infants can be looked after, granny houses where destitute widows will be looked after, as well as housing for pregnant factory girls.
In the city Place of Rescue has purchased a place called the House of New Dreams where students can live while they are attending grade 12 or university. Currently it houses seven students.
In the years since it was created Place of Rescue has expanded to include Place of Rescue I, Place of Rescue II in Mongkkol Borey, Cambodia, and Place of Rescue III in Pailin, Cambodia.
