Sam Rainsy Party to choose new leader when new party registered

PHNOM PENH, 21 August 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - The opposition Sam Rainsy Party will choose a new leader to succeed Sam Rainsy after the Ministry of Interior registers the new National Salvation Party, acting president Kong Korm (pictured) said Tuesday.

"We are now taking steps to register the new party," he said. "When the new party is approved, we will hold a congress to choose the president and vice president.

The new party, to be chaired by Sam Rainsy, is a joint effort by the Sam Rainsy Party and Human Rights Party, neither of which plan to dissolve for the time being.

Sam Rainsy, who has been convicted of several offenses and has not yet served his prison term, is believed to be living in exile in France.

Convicted of right doing by the jungle's court of Yuon puppet doesn't counts.Cpp corruption's court put innocent in jail and the guilt walks free...Abolish all jungle's courts and putting those practice corruption in jail throw away the keys.

According to my knowledge, Cambodian government must stick with China for both, military strength and economic growth. It seems that Mr. Sam Rainsy has been tried to mess up and repeat the mistaken again. The U.S. could not save of the Lon Nol's regime and South Vietnam in the Cold War. So, what made you think and realize that the U.S. can help you to become a new leader in Cambodia?. I hope that you should think it twice before you plan to do that, and I believe that it will NOT work out for you Sir. I'm Khmer, and I'm telling you the truth because you're also Khmer. Therefore, I understood that PM Hun has the devil between Hanoi and himself, but he is doing fine for now.
