In Cambodia, the royalist movement has
been dealt another blow, with Prince Norodom Ranariddh announcing his
resignation from politics for a second time.
Last time it was in 2008, after a scandal involving the sale of the Funcinpec party's headquarters.
He eventually received a royal
pardon, and in late 2010 made a comeback with a self-named party he said
was committed to re-uniting the Royalists.
That attempt now appears to have collapsed, and along with it, the political career of the Prince.
