[Thai] Immigration police have been instructed to keep a
close watch on Cambodian Muslim people travelling into Thailand as
tourists, Deputy Prime Minister Yutthasak Sasiprapa said on Monday.
Gen Yutthasak, who is in charge of security affairs, said nearly 1,000 Cambodian Muslims were arriving in the country each day.
Apart from the necessity for immigration police to keep them under
watch, the Cambodian government would also be asked to provide
information about them, he said.
On the new command centre for solving problems in southern border
provinces, which has yet to be officially set up, Gen Yutthasak said
it would not duplicate the work of other security agencies but would
instead facilitate their operations.

Take a one way trip and don't come back please. We don't want to go get your training and come back to blow us up. You can go, but please don't come back after you get your brain washed.
How stupid to blame our own Khmer citizen ? I am a Buddhism believe since generation, but respect other Khmer as our. They just have different believe, but they are Khmer just like we all from Cambodia, Europe, America or Australia.
Please don't trust that much the Thai authority about this information.

I think the figure of 1000 daily is too high. The other thing is that Cambodian Muslims are peaceful and non-violent people. They co-existed with Khmer Buddhists for generations and we never have any problems with each other.
The reasons Muslims in Thai become extremists and radicals are because they Thai authority cracked down on them hard, brutally beating them and killing them. We Cambodians treated Khmer Muslims pretty fair and pretty well, that's why they are very passive and had co-existed with Khmer Buddhists peacefully for generations.
They all khmers,they practice Muslim religion that is it.They were threaten beaten killed on k.R. My families were Muslim lived in Srok Khmer since escaped persecution in central Yiek nam (Champa era) long time ago...In K.R time they killed my families,my father,brothers,cousins,uncles,aunts....We don't want to go thru that again.We all Khmers childrents...
Khmerland is for Buddhism only, no other religion. if you want your religion, go another place where you have the whole country with same religion. Cambodia is for Cambodian with one religion of the Buddha. Islam hates idolatry, hate statues of the Buddha. It's better for muslims to go south Thailand to live with their own kind, maybe you can help take south Thailand back.
Doesn't sound nice,its sound like Racism!...These were Champa people their ancestors were from Champa central Yieknam today.Kamuphea is khmers -Champa belong too,they were/are khmers,fought Yiek cong dies to protect kumpucea just like all Khmers did during the war time.They all Khmers....

Not going to happen,chams and khmers lived togethers for many centuries after Champa was overtook by Yuon the barbaric-race killed millions men and assimilated the women to be Yuon.Sdach khmers was kided heart allowed Chams to settled in Kampong Cham to these days.
Chams people were assimilated with khmers adapted to our way of lives in Srok khmers.They all khmers childrents.
Judas!? Don't think so...Cambodian-Chams is not middle east nor Pakistan or Aghanistan...They don't worship idols,but they tolerant people,respect khmers culture.So does christain they don't worship idols too.
Judge people base on their action not because whose they were or whose they associates with.
