Dear Khmerization,
We all agree that among the male singers, Sinn Sisamouth is number One.
We don't seem to agree on who the number Two is.
Would you be kind enough to pick the BEST songs, as you see fit, sung by Ung Nary, Thet Sambath, and Sous Song Veacha ?
We do want to know, once and for all, WHO can sing with both the voice and the style as close as the King Sisamouth.

Khmerization's Note: All the songs sung by Ung Nary, Sous Sorng Veacha and Thet Sambath are not readily available on youtube. I attempted as best I could to choose the best songs available on youtube. The songs of Ung Nary and Theth Sambath did suffer an audio quality problems because they were recorded more than 40 years ago. By saying this I mean the songs of Sous Sorng Veacha seem to have an advantange of audio quality as they were only recorded recently, plus the songs he sang are Sin Sisamouth's songs. This could be an advantage as well.

I should be the one to thank you for being "an entertainment writer" for this blog. You have entertained the visitors to this blog who probably need some sort of entertainment to clear their mind of the headache from a violent politics of Cambodia. Thank you.

We wish to thank you for the searh, selection and posting all these songs.
Also, another " Thank You " shall be expressed and presented to School of Vice for being a good entertainment writer.
After repeated listening and evaluating, especially paying attention to detailse, the number Two ranking shall be awarded not to Ung Nary but to Sous Song Veacha.
However, Ung Nary had a better voice than Veacha, but not the style.
And sorry, Theth Sambath did not make the cut, although he was a good singer in his own rights.

Ung Nary had his own style, he's just another version of best singer! Just like Samouth,his natural voice is crispy, no one could not compare with him, he won the 1st place in national khmer song contest in 1963...modern singer with all up to date technologies equipment are way behind Samouth and Ung Nary
