Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen (pictured) will lead a high-level delegation to
attend the 16th Summit of the Non-aligned Movement to be held on August
30-31 in Tehran, the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to a press
release from Cambodia's Foreign Ministry on Friday.
The
participation is made at the invitation of Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad,
president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the press release said.
The delegation will include Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hor Namhong and other senior members of the government.
On
the sidelines of the summit, Hun Sen will hold a bilateral talk with
Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and have a meeting with Kim Yong Nam, president
of Presidium of Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's
Republic of Korea, it said.
After the summit, Hun Sen will attend
the 2nd China-Eurasia Expo to be held on September 1-5 in Urumqi
Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China.
During his stay in Urumqi, Hun Sen will hold a bilateral talk with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.
