SIEM REAP (Cambodia Herald) – Commerce Minister
Cham Prasidh said Monday that Cambodia would sign a memorandum of
understanding to export at least 100,000 tons of rice a year to
Indonesia.
Speaking at the opening of the annual meeting of ASEAN economic ministers, he identified the Cambodian exporter as Green Trade Co.
"We first plan to export 100,000 tons of rice to Indonesia a year. If we have greater ability, we will export more," he said.
It was not immediately clear when the MOU would be signed by Cambodia, which is trying to become a major rice exporter.

make sure people got enough to eat before they sell to another country.Starving at home, selling everything to foreigner is not right.Make sure we got plenty to eat at home,no one starving then sell the rest to foreign country.
