Mam Sonando arrived in Phnom Penh on Thursday night.
PHNOM PENH, 13 July 2012 (Cambodia Herald) - Beehive Radio station owner and Democrats Association director Mam Sonando returned to Cambodia from the United States on Thursday evening, his wife said.
Din Phanara said her husband, who Prime Minister Hun Sen has accused of leading an attempted secession in Kratie, was met by association members and non-governmental organizations.
"I hoped he's not arrested," she said. "My husband left Cambodia for France and the United States for four months at the invitation of overseas Cambodians."
Keat Chantharith, spokesman at the General-Commissariat of National Police, said police had no power to arrest Mam Sonando. "We cannot take action against him without a court order," he said.

បានអំពាវនាវឲ្យសមាជិកសមាគមន៍អ្នកប្រជាធិបតេយ្យកុំឲ្យមានភ័យខ្លាច
អ្វីទាំងអស់ ហើយបន្តសកម្មភាពរបស់សមាគមជាបន្តទៀត។

Hun Sen's kangaroo court will summon him and probably jail him. Mam Sonando knows that pretty well, yet is not afraid to return.
How long can Hun Sen play this dirty game? The Cambodian people and the world will condemn him.

11:08 AM, Mam Sonando is a French permanent resident, he lived in France for nearly 40 years, since from 1964. He does not need to return to Cambodia, he can live in France. The reason that he returned was because he wanted to prove his innocence.
Just wait and see what is Hun Sen's next trick and what Hun Sen's kangaroo court will do with him. But at the end, Mam Sonando will be a free man. If he did not return, he will be a convict and becomes an exile. That is not a choice for him.
