Job Announcement--Project Intern with CCHR

Internship Opportunity

The  Cambodian  Center  for  Human  Rights  (CCHR)  is  seeking  to  recruit  a  Cambodian Candidates for a full time position of Project Intern for a period of six months to work in our office in Phnom Penh. The selected candidates will work closely in the Project of “Business and Human Rights based in Phnom Penh. S/he will receive a modest monthly stipend.

CCHR is a non-political, independent, non-governmental organization that works to promote and protect democracy and respect for human rights throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia.



Requirement
·     Recent University graduate in Law, Public/International Relations, International Studies, Human Rights, and social sciences or other related fields;
·    Fair command in English language—reading, writing and speaking;
·    Interest in the situation of human rights and the state of democracy in Cambodia.
·    Honest, hardworking and willing to learn;
·    Have good communication skill;
·    Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email.
·    No work experience is required.


Responsibilities:
·    Assist the work of project coordinator.
·    Assist in organizing meetings and roundtable discussion.
·    Assist in facilitating group discussions when needed
·    Report to the project coordinator when needed
·    Provide necessary supporting role to the project team.
·    Provide admin support to the project team
