Thai PM Yingluck Shinawatra is on her way to meet Cambodian PM Hun Sen.

SIEM REAP, Cambodia, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia and Thailand agreed on Friday to redeploy military personnel in the Provisional Demilitarized Zone surrounding the Preah Vihear Temple in order to comply with the order of the International Court of Justice.
The verbal agreement was made during a meeting between Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and his visiting Thai Counterpart Yingluck Shinawatra.
The meeting was also attended by the two countries' defense ministers - Cambodia's Tea Banh and Thailand's Sukumpol Suwanatat.
"Both sides had agreed and announced to re-deploy military personnel in the Provisional Demilitarized Zone, which is defined by the International Court of Justice," Hun Sen told reporters in a joint press briefing after the meeting. "The redeployment is very important to enhance the two countries' relationship."

"The redeployment is the willingness of Cambodia and Thailand," he said, adding that the military personnel will be replaced by police.
Cambodian Foreign Minister Hor Namhong announced Friday morning that Cambodia will withdraw some 486 military personnel from the PDZ surrounding the Preah Vihear Temple in order to comply with the ICJ's order issued on July 18 last year.
Cambodia and Thailand have had sporadic border conflict over territorial dispute near Cambodia's Preah Vihear temple since the UNESCO listed the temple as a World Heritage Site on July 7, 2008, but Thailand claims the ownership of 4.6 square kilometers of scrub next to the temple.
Fierce clashes between the two sides' troops had happened in February and April 2011 during Thailand's Democrat Party rule.
The ICJ ordered on July 18, 2011 that Cambodia and Thailand must immediately withdraw their military personnel from the PDZ and refrain from any armed activity directed at that zone.
Also, it ordered both parties to allow ASEAN observers ( Indonesians) to access to the zone to monitor ceasefire.
The redeployment will be done without the arrival of the Indonesian observers.

You are A KA PEK brother but not me. Khmers should never let their guard down on A KA PEK and A KA TUP. Saim and Youn both are thieves, they will always looking for opportunity to annex Khmer land. We can learn to live near them as good neighbors. At the same time we Khmer must find a way to reform our armed forces to strengthen and acquire weapons to counter attack these two thieves just in case they have any plans to invade Cambodia again.
I wish I have same confident in these two neighbors as peaceful.

If Yuon or siam wants to elimination Khmer is piece of cake, all Yuon needs to do is release 10 millions srey Yuon to marry 10 millions khmers guy and makes 30 millions babies and assimilated strictly to be Yuon, than khmers will be history.....

As for Siamese,if they want to elimination khmers is easy as 1,2,3 ,but they don't want to for that,Siam has modernize weapons can destroy khmers in second. But UN won't let that happen these both countries knew that.Only way to take over is using ideology in assimilation's way.Yuon slowly done that slowly bit by bit in this Cpp regime approximately 6millions illegal Yuons in srok khmers now.You should be aware of this tactics, not war tactics....

Dream on darling! China stood and watched Yuon took over Cambodia in 1979 and stayed in country for twenty plus years then, why do you think China will cares this time around, remember K.R was China puppet, producing all rice in Cambodia send to China for weapons.

Siam allowed khmers to used their land near border to fight against Yuon invaders from 1979-1993 or even now if there is war between Yuon ,Siam will do just that for khmers.China did whatever for profits to their nation/people.Thinks again my fellows Khmer,China & Yuon can not be trusted,we [khmers] should learned from past mistook that we associate with these two countries.
Two millions plus died in K.R. puppet to China, lost more land or territories in this regime puppet to Yuon.

Thinks harder...
